Sweat brings glow to your skin. This glow would not last long. Proper care will prolong your skin glow. Workouts are good for skin but high intensity workout also put stress on your skin. All types of physical activities keep your skin healthy. It improves your blood circulation and provides oxygen to your tissues making it tighter. The type of care you can do for your skin depends on the type of your skin.

Dry Skin

Dry skin demands more moisture after workout. When you workout, your body water evaporates in the form of sweat. Drink more water to stay hydrated. Clean your skin daily and moisturize it properly. Take a shower after workouts with a mild shower gel of pH 5.5. It is similar to skin’s own pH. Do not rely on neutral pH shower gels it contains pH 7. It will make your skin drier. Use body lotion after shower. Take short baths. Long baths will make your skin drier.

Oily skin

Oily skin needs to use oil control cleansers and high pH shower gels. Drinking more water will help.
